My Process

Movement Assessment

I’ll perform a series of mobility tests and functional movement assessments to identify any restrictions or imbalances. This allows us to pinpoint areas that require attention and establish a baseline for your progress. Aim is to prioritise addressing the underlying issues rather than just the symptoms. Please wear comfortable clothing for your appointment. Please note my clinic is within a gym and we might use the equipment on the gym floor to assess loaded movement if necessary.

Personalised Treatment Plan

Based on the assessment findings, I’ll develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs. This may include a combination of techniques such as deep tissue massage, myofascial release, cupping, dry needling, and trigger point therapy, all aimed at alleviating pain and enhancing function. If you are not comfortable with some of these techniques please do not be afraid to communicate that to me.

Manual Therapy

I utilise a variety of techniques to improve flexibility and range of motion such as trigger point therapy, joint mobilisation, myofascial release, dry needling, cupping, deep tissue and electrotherapy . As we work through tight areas, you may notice an immediate increase in your ability to move freely. I often incorporate active and passive stretching into your session to further enhance mobility. This ensures that your body has now access to an improved range of motion.

Re-assessment & Tailored exercise prescription

At the end of the session, I’ll reassess your mobility and discuss any changes you may have felt. This feedback helps us refine your treatment plan for maximum effectiveness in future sessions. To further support your recovery and performance, I’ll provide personalised exercise prescriptions. These may include stretches, strength-building exercises, and mobility drills tailored to address your specific needs.

Right after the treatment, I will demonstrate and supervise tailored exercises and/or mobility drills to help you moving better long term and walk away with the confidence and knowledge of what steps to take after treatment. Yes, pregnancy massage is safe for all stages of pregnancy however please reach out to me if you had miscarriages history and you are in your first trimester. Techniques are tailored to support your changing body, providing relief from discomfort while promoting relaxation for both you and your baby. This will be a side lying treatment.

Sessions are available in 45, 60, or 90-minute durations. The length depends on your specific needs, treatment goals, and the type of treatment you choose to receive.

Your first session includes consultation to understand your needs, followed by a personalised treatment targeting problem areas. Techniques may include manual therapy, myofascial cupping, electrotherapy, deep tissue, trigger points, assisted stretching, dry needling and mobility drills depending on your goals.

The frequency depends on your condition and goals. For acute pain or injury recovery, weekly sessions may be recommended initially, transitioning to fortnightly then monthly and or bimonthly for maintenance and prevention.
